Dear All,

Please be kindly informed that FIRCaspian is looking for candidates for the position of QA/QC Underground Inspector.

Location: Atyrau / Karabatan

Work schedule: 5/2

Requirements:

Perform inspections of structural steel fabrication and erection works in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Verify compliance of structural steel installations with approved IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, and relevant industry standards.
Conduct inspections of structural members, connections, bolting works, alignment, plumbness, leveling, and installation tolerances.
Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures during fabrication and erection activities.
Review material certificates, mill test certificates (MTCs), and ensure material traceability requirements are maintained.
Witness and verify dimensional inspections and fit-up inspections.
Monitor structural assembly activities and verify compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with construction teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required and participate in corrective action follow-up.
Review and verify inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation.
Interface with Client representatives and Third-Party Inspectors during inspections and audits.
Support preparation of turnover dossiers and quality records for project handover.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior inspectors when required.
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and project safety requirements.

Requirements:

Total experience of minimum 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry (construction and source inspection).
Engineering Diploma in a relevant discipline (Civil or Mechanical).
Certified knowledge in underground installation services (GRE, GRP, RTR, etc.)
Certified to the related discipline in Quality.
Good English lingual skills.
Experience in managing inspectors.
